Pretty much everyone who hates it has probably only tried the classic version, which makes it appear as if it's only a crappy building game, when it's much, MUCH more than that.

Thing is, Minecraft Classic is a waste of time. I don't find it entertaining in the least.
But Survival mode is way funner. I could play it for hours.

Eh, I like minecraft a lot. Fun IMO, but I don't know much about the community. I looked at a blockland topic of theirs and they were like "hurp blockland sux LOL go mincrft"

Minecraft beta is a survival game not a building game, Building is just a side project.
Like building a giant bridge across the sea for minecarts to travel across, Which i've done about 4 times now.
