Buddha isn't either. Buddha was shakya. Gotama Buddha was indeed a Prince of sorts, but went searching for enlightenment and eventually found it after trying following the enlightened Buddha, and living an ordinary life of trade and love and averageness.

Read the book about Gotama a few months ago.

I am a buddhist sir, Buddhism started in India, and made it's way all over the world. Buddhism is most common in, Japan, China, Tibet, Parts of India, and the Phillipines.
