Every time I buy a DS product, the idiots at nintendo have to release something new.

I REMEMBER BUYING MY LITE AND THEN CAME TO FIND OUT NINTENDO RELEASED THE 3DS.

I'm tempted to buy this one but I won't because there's a chance nintendo might as well release the 4DS while I'm at it.

The AR cards sound cool, and I'm also hoping they make a Metroid game for it or at least include the old one in the Virtual Console Support. (of course I would say this *pokes avatar*)

I'm not too crazy about the new messaging system, sure it's nice, but why couldn't they also hold on to Pic-To-Chat? I also don't exactly like the sound of "cash-based system" for the eShop rather than things like DSi/Wii Points. The Play Points thing from walking is interesting, but I don't walk much... Maybe it'll encourage me... *stares at PokeWalker*

new messaging system

Right now, there is no messaging system.  You can add friends and see what they're playing and if they're online but other than the 16 character status message you are allowed, there is no form of communication between players.  I do believe that Nintendo plans to add this in a later update, probably the big May Update.

It's not directly stated, but most people are assuming it will come.  If not, Nintendo will have a lot of angry gamers.

ok, I have a DSi, a DS Lite with a broken hing, Mark kart DS, metroid prime hunters, a white wii with everything, a black remote and nun chuck, classic controller, and Mario Kart Wii. how much sould I sell everything for?

Not really?..
Wii wasn't half assed at the beginning, gamecube didn't receive any updates at all so it can't be improved later on.
NDS was pretty normal. No real changes until DSi which was fine.
