today

If you have no power then how internet work.
no loving idea at all. i turned on my dsi when the power went out to soothe my nerves by posting here, didnt expect it to work, but no: full strength connection. im like, "what the forget" as i listen to my window creak.

well, good news is, it seems that the worst has moved on. now im just waiting for the power to come back.

edit: i think it may have something to do with my dad's backup battery powering the router. its not gonna last long, tho.

fasdfgh im getting tired, but im dreading sleeping right now.

its 10:30 pm right now where i am, and stuffs going down

were getting hit by a loving huge storm right now, my room is like a strobe light from all the lightning. the wind is insane, and im not too sure i want to look outside. i can hear the rai---
OH stuff
I JUST LOOKED OUTSIDE
i cant see a damn thing right now
im afraid my window is going to break
we dont have any power and im posting on my dsi
im so loving scared right now
im all shaky
i cant see a thing

tl:dr this storm is frightening

edit: still cant see anything, havent tried weather channel, surprised i have internet

thank god it quieted down, can i have power now :c
This is a bunch of bull...if the power was out..then your router would not work...that means no posting...

like i said, ive got no idea how its still going. my dad's battery backup wouldve given out by now, so really the only other thing i can thinkof for this would be my neighbor's internet. ive got ni idea how this stuff works.

I own a dsi...but it could not pick up any internet with out a router....which makes you the moron.

Now explain this to me...why would your dad have a backup battery on a router when none of your computers can turn on to use it. >.>

To give internet to a laptop/tablet/small device to check weather updates?

Yeah minecraft got a weather update.

To give internet to a laptop/tablet/small device to check weather updates?
If that was true...why not use a laptop instead of a crappy DSi?

And now the OP will make some excuse i assume >.>

Why the forget are you trying to disprove a storm?
You are aware those exist?

Moron. Dsi is a potable divide witch means you don't need electricity for it unless you charge

YOU GET MORE IRONIC AS THE DAYS PASS

They're talking about the loving router. We know a DSi doesn't have to be plugged in, hurr.

I am aware of storms. As I am also aware of people who exaggerate a story, such as OP.
