once you break enough demon altars it becomes as common as gold

Just killed WoF - Yay! Just ran backwards across the underworld firing meteor shot from a minishark. Kinda worked.

Either way, after destroying every altar I knew of (which was about 15, mostly in the corruption chasms), mythril, cobalt and adamantite are everywhere

It's...erm...not. Not unless you get your world eaten by corruption that is.

EDIT: What's the point in lava defences if SNOWMEN keep building snowbridges across them...I lost all my NPCs to a single stabby snowman whilst trying to kill the bridge builders.

By the way, if you want snowglobes, just go on a public server. Loads of people have 'spares'. Probably mostly inveditted.

I put up a barrier made out of glass over my house so the snow bastards couldn't get in.
