ok, so as it turns out, the hard mode boss fights are so intense, they basically overheat my computer and make me crash in the Mac version

I'm going to try fighting stuff at night with a higher fan setting to try and see if my game survives

the new house for my truffle, because he only had a pathetic little house to live in; it seems to attract solar eclipses

running windows 10 and every time i go into a different biome it slows down for like 3 seconds
and if i explore somewhere it does the exact same stuff but for longer durations

If your on a nvidia card you can fix this by turning on adaptive vsync and frameskip off.
Optionally turn on triple buffering and don't forget multicore lighting is disabled by default.

Anyone know what blocks those are? I thought they were stone bricks and stone slabs, but testing it out in my world, they dont look the same.

They might be. I havent killed the WoF in this world though, so tin painted grey is sufficing :)

i've had 6 solar eclipses and not one of them dropped mothron wings
