so it turns out WoF is really easy with a star cannon
had 800 shots, and barely used any on it
then ended up killing skeletron prime soon after on an asphalt sky platform, since he decided to spawn in a night soon after
and I learned that wyverns die really quickly to a star cannon doing 2k DPS to them

expert mode is tons of fun, and ayxrion is dying a ton whenever he joins my world
post golem ayxrion is dying to just started expert hardmode things c:

i decided to raise it to 2 plat each and 5 plat if i can buy both at the same time

Expert mode means nothing for the moons, besides increasing drops

I was just starting on a star platform/skybridge early
we also have a full rail line going on it
asphalt bridge vs wooden platform bridge wouldn't have made a difference there, it's just a long straight platform which was really useful

also, just had blood moon -> solar eclipse -> king slime -> pirate invasion
all back to back, some overlapping
that stuff is brutal, would be much easier if vampires were only fast, not fast and could teleport

they don't teleport, they turn into bats

yeah my best strategy for fighting the solar eclipse is just sitting up on a rope/platform/rail and shooting below
when the vampires fly up, if your shots miss them, switch to a sword and knock them away
when mothron comes, make sure you have some platforms nearby so you can easily attack him and then get back

they don't teleport, they turn into bats

I know they turn into bats, so I fly away from the bats while attacking them
problem is, the bats teleport through my attacks and onto me

edit: only seems to teleport at me while chasing me
but not through walls

I made a spiral out of stone and stood in the center, using a yoyo to kill everything this time
and it works pretty well with the yoyo bag + banners up
