muramasa hits twice in the space of time it takes nights edge to hit once.
they are equal weapons.
I wouldn't call them them equal then, I would say use what ever one you fancy.
If you enjoy one hitting stuff then use nights edge.
If you like holding things at bay well dealing fast though lighter hits use muramursa.
