best thing ever for going fast: ivy whip (or grapple), hermes, rocket boots and cloud in bottle. A short ivy whip pull will activate the boots and you can jump or jet over any thing tall. plus as soon as you ivy you can immediately rocket again in mid-air.

I usually just use cloud in bottle, ivy and anklet though so I can move reasonably fast without changing up my accessory line :p

I don't think horses would look very good all pixely. Besides I think a summoning thing where you apparently keep a horse in your pocket with you all the time would be a bit silly.

I have a silver broadsword, full set of iron tools, spear, and plenty of bars. I have a normal house, haven't killed or seen any bosses, have a merchant, demolistionist, and of course a guide. I've also found the corruption.

Now what? If I can ignore the lag again, then I'll start playing again.

One is spawned by combining Lenses dropped by demon eyes at demon altars (or he spawns randomly), one is found by doing stuff in corruption, and the other is guarding the dungeon, and another apparently spawns randomly.
