So, I finally tried to stop being a pusillanimous individual, and since a guy called lego something gifted me some pretty awesome stuff, I decided to rush through Corruption without crapping myself.
Since I didn't get devourers, I was happy, then I keep walking in the non corrupted area.... and.. well.. this:

He's probably inventory editing and trying to hide it by making claims somebody "gifted" him some stuff.

Most likely. Just beat Skeletron on my own, my second time trying, my first was when I had copper sword and weak things, now I got revenge.
