You can't play 60 hours in two days. Two days is 48 hours.

Speculation about "hardmode corruption":

After you've cleared the Dungeon, the UJ, and Hell, you'll be able to craft a Boss Summoning item of some sort. Using this "summon item" will both summon a new Boss to fight AND cause a Dark Meteor to fall.

A Dark Meteor is the Hardmode event - it's optional since you have to Summon it, but once it lands, it starts spreading uber-Corruption like CRAZY - over stone, over Desert, over Jungle - all over your world, if you don't stop it! New monsters, stronger than anything we've yet seen, appear in uber-corrupted areas, making approaching the Dark Meteor and the spreading taint on the lands nearly impossible.

To combat this, a new NPC appears that is sort of like the Dryad - they will allow access to the Hallowed Seeds, which when planted, create a new Biome - the anti-Corruption - that can also spread, leaving uncorruptable, extra-healthy grass and plants in its wake. New Herbs can be found here, leading to new Alchemy options.

A by-product of the Dark Meteor falling is that the force of the impact shakes your whole world, unearthing new Ores deep underground - Cobalt and Mithril for sure, perhaps others. Unfortunately, if you dig too greedily and too deeply, newly awakened horrors from the depths of the earth will arise to keep you from obtaining these powerful new Ores.

At this point, you have to worry about 2 things: getting some Cobalt and Mithril gear to combat the very powerful monsters that spawn near Dark Meteor uber-corruption, and to establish anti-corruption on both sides of the Dark Meteor and slowly push the Hallowed Biome to the Meteor itself. Once you've stopped the spread of uber-Corruption and can battle the Dark monsters there, you can use their drops to craft some new tools/gear.

Once you've geared up and pushed your anti-Corruption all the way back to the Dark Meteor, the "final showdown" will begin. When a patch of Hallowed ground touches the Meteor, a new Boss is summoned for you to contend with. Once you've killed it, the Dark Meteor will stop spreading uber-Corruption and may even become some sort of harvestable resource (Dark Meteorite, a blend of Meteorite and Demonite, but stronger than both?).

I'm sure it'll be nothing like this, but when I think about the stuff I've seen and read from the Devs, this is what pops into my head.

I approve of this

Spreading anti corruption is stupid. Plant one seed and you are safe forever.

Somehow, that steam thing will instantly quit upon start. Is it because I already have a Steam on?
Seriously all you need is the Terraria .exe. Do you not have any PC that you could just download it with and then transfer it via usb?

and force close terraria2.executive from process manager if it exists

Anti-corruption would be good if it just stopped corruption from spreading instead of overtaking it. Maybe it could crack under too much pressure, like sunflowers but on steroids.
