Reading Lugnut's post (thanks for the info) I came. Thirty-six new monsters, underground cities work properly--this is loving awesome. I just wish every landscape I get isn't a big craggy piece of poop.

This new update cut my FPS in half. I'm playing in slow motion. :(

on video options set quality to low
it turns the clouds off which stops most lag
also set its priority to high via task manager (use prio to keep it that way)

Oh my god, Terraria so stuffty now. I couldn't go anywhere before because it was loving annoying, it was like someone was loving around with a fast forward and play button on the game. I turned the graphics low, messed with Frame Skip, forgeted around with the Nvidia Control Panel and it still works terribly.

This is so loving irritating.

Retro lighting seemed to fix it.

Happened to me too. FPS kept jumping up and down. I'm sad I can't have the lovey lighting. :(
