Just fused 20 Souls of Light and 20 (or was it 30?) Crystal Shards to make that crystal tome thing.

forgeter is awesome
30 magic damage, insanely fast speed, faster than the shark machine gun, I dare say. And, it uses only 5 mana. Combined with the Clairvoyance buff received from a Crystal Ball and a few mana potions, I'm unstoppable.
remove the mana potions, and I'm stoppable ,but it's a pain in the ass.

Srsly, most enemies drop Mana stars which restore 100 mana.

Beat Eye of Cthulu and the Eater of worlds, easy. Had full silver armor and demonite bow for both along with many potions I had found along the way.
