I tried making all of my accessories warding or armored and used philosopher's stone, cross necklace, cobalt shield, and ranger emblem. not to mention lots of megashark with lots of crystal bullets with the ranged specified adamantite armor

Hi,
I just survived my first Blood Moon (I'm fairly new to Terraria) and I did it by just blocking my doors off with dirt blocks. I'm just wondering if there's any better way than that.
