Terraria - 2D Minecraft More focused on RPG/Action, surprise 1.3 :^)

Does anyone else think Terra Blade and the true weapons don't sound very interesting? It just sounds like a glorified version of the set bonus of Chlorophyte armor.

I might just make a second Excalibur and take my old Night's Edge and get a few broken hero swords to make it, then just use my current Excalibur for melee and Terra Blade for ranged. I'd like to have it just to feel the satisfaction of acquiring the strongest weapon in the game.

If you have a good group, yes
My group consists of a tank, a mage with spectre armor, and a few random dps.
We can just sit down and not care about damage; the tank takes most of it and receives 1s, the mage heals all other damage

once i get terra blade i hope i'll be as lucky as i was with excalibur, where i got it legendary in 4 reforges
or even maybe as lucky as with my night's edge where it was legendary as soon as i made it

i can't think of anything stronger than that

The Terra Blade only has 80 base damage, the Paladin's Hammer and Possessed Hatchet both have 90
My friend who has used all three says he prefers the Paladin's Hammer much more than the others

There's still a lot of weapons I'm discovering, for example I have no idea what comes out of the ice chest in the dungeon; could there be an even better melee weapon?
