The Terra Blade only has 80 base damage, the Paladin's Hammer and Possessed Hatchet both have 90
My friend who has used all three says he prefers the Paladin's Hammer much more than the others

There's still a lot of weapons I'm discovering, for example I have no idea what comes out of the ice chest in the dungeon; could there be an even better melee weapon?

Headcrab, what comes from the ice chest is the staff of frost hydra, quite an effective weapon too
