also rainbow gun is terrible.

me and two irl friends have been doing everything together on a server.
friend 1 is a ranger, me and friend 2 are mages.
so we promised to fairly divide the biome chest spoils:

friend 1 gets vampire knives and piranha gun(since we didn't really have use for them, and he was the server host)
friend 2 gets frost hydra staff
i get rainbow gun

and rainbow gun turns out to suck really bad. well, compared to the other 1.2 magic items anyways.

Rainbow gun is great against ground enemies such as scarecrows and dungeon skeletons.
