I hate PC games that, by popular demand, get to consoles and they end up as pretty much a different game

I agree with Terraria, but not with Minecraft. They're adding the same things, but Xbox 360 version has all these buyables.

Minecraft has about 8 different ports. Point is, the focus ends up being split for a game that is not even meant for those systems and thus it is stupid for PC users who no longer get the same waves of updates as before.

I picked up this game last week and it's really fun, I always had a mentality that it wouldn't be as engaging as I thought it'd be. But JESUS I PICKED THIS UP TOO LATE NO ONE IS ONLINE! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BIG BANG IN WHICH HALF OF YOUR FRIEND LIST WAS PLAYING, JUKING, AND JIVING! Oh well, I'd rather play with someone who is as new as I am, I haven't looked up anything on like how to get stuff or nothin'. Buuuuut I did look up what the Lost Girl was... after it attacked anyway

Is the Slime Staff rare though? Just curious because that little thing is cute and effective. (at least as far as i am into the game)

it has a 0.01% (1/10000) drop chance so it's pretty rare

I'd put them in a chest and save them there until you reach hardmode if I were you. I dunno about you but for me, getting OP gear early in the game is no fun.
