Oh yeah I guess that makes sense. A lot of sense. At first I rolled my eyes when he announced Terraria 2 but now I'm a bit more interested in it.
Yeah honestly Terraria is on my top 10 games. I think Redigit is a good developer and doesn't succumb to the bullstuff "Pay me money for early access and release half-assed content" that most indie developers do. He said he doesn't want to resort to crowd funding because he wants to do it all on his own and he made Terraria in only 4 months anyway. I take it Terraria 2 won't take 1 year to come out.
That being said, I have high hopes for Terraria 2. Better mechanics are a plus for sure, and It's just more content to have fun with. I'm not complaining about a better, revamped Terraria. I know he also said that he wants infinite worlds so you do not have to make multiple ones to search for loot/etc. which sounds awesome.
