Starbound is based off of Terraria though.

That guy that made chucklefish was from the Terraria team, IIRC.

You were referring to the new game, don't know how I mixed that up, sorry.

But yeah, the artstyle is really really odd.


I'll probably stick to regular Terraria, I don't honestly like the look of this one, in my opinion.

For some odd reason the artstyle reminds me of HP. Lovecraft.

one thing i already despise is the art style
the enviroment looks really clean and modern, and the hotbar looks overly medieval

the textures really remind me of the soartex and faithful texture packs for minecraft. nice but doesn't really fit

edit: also the player characters look a bit bobble-headed and tiny

and lastly WHY DO THE GLASS WINDOWS LOOK LIKE THEY'RE OUTSET INSTEAD OF INSET
