Author Topic: What supplies would you bring in a Zombie Apocalypse?  (Read 30406 times)

If they were in Maine, most would probably be bundled up in the clothes they died in, so most wouldn't freeze seeing as humans don't either.
3 seasons out of four they wouldn't be worried about coats, and if they did suddenly come to the door, retract the bridge, lock and load, and let the punji stakes do their work.

Bad idea. You better hope a stray bullet doesn't find its way to your trailer. You get the Zombie kill of the week for killing every zombie in the area but you also die.
Goddamnit, bullets don't make things explode unless the explosive is designed solely to explode when shot or the bullets are super-incendiary.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have access to bullets flaming enough to light gas, and gasoline isn't made to explode-on-being-shot.

Except it started in summer and it's now winter.
They're in bathing suits, it's below freezing, zombies don't have body heat, they're dead.

lolol it's 60-70 degrees here still.

And also, why does everybody want to pack an armory and raid the gun store first thing? Don't you realize that 1. Food and gas will be much more valuable than guns, and more useful to you

And 2. That's where everyone else is headed, avoid the stampede.

Decent fortifications and some melee weapon should be the bare minimums to keeping the zombies away, food is something else you need, water also because I'd imagine most water would be bloody/muddy and like a petri dish.

The sparks from the bullets do. What, did you think people just though bullets magically make things explode?

If I wasn't held back by monetary restrictions I would have a bunker in the woods and stock it full of food and medical supplies. I'd probably have a radio to contact the outside world and a few guns. Television as well as a pretty good supply of books and entertainment.

things are very unlikely to explode when shot.

you do realize nobody's going to leave their house or wherever they are to operate the television stations. And a bunker? Zombies don't have bombs, why bother?

Machete
Python maybe
3 first aids home car and office
A 12 pack of little water bottles
And a bunch of Energy bars
6 hand radios
2 boxes of Hostes twinkies
Batteries

This is going to be my real supplies list energy bars are good
I dont want too much food to hold me down.

no food, no water, baggy clothing easily grabbed by a G, once you run out of ammo or starve, you're screwed.
