Normal game elo is counted from your win/loss ratio

I will soon have access to a LoL'able computer at both my parents houses, since my old computer finally gave up the ghost. However, do you think that my ELO currently would be going down at a rate that would make it impossible to advance like this? I'm not actually sure if my ELO is positive; I do well mostly, but still don't win a ton of the time.
