Gonna try to catch up on the last 5 pages...
I have tried all sorts of TFs and nothing seems to work for me except for AS/AP. The autoattack damage isn't too bad with his E passive giving AP scaling bonus every 4 attacks, and you're too squishy to autoattack very often anyway. his Q is basically worthless without AP and his W doesn't actually scale with AD so much as use his AD instead of not using it (misleading description), meaning you're only dealing more damage vs. an autoattack (on blue/gold) because people tend to have more armor than MR, so AP works almost as cost-effectively for that.
re: what proog heard about this game, Champions in this game are
very prone to dying and vulnerable. They're just
less so compared to other mobas. It's probably the #1 reason I despise all other mobas and adore LoL; it's less about counter-strike-style twitch reflex and forces you more often to actually outsmart people in order to kill them. Anyone who told you that LoL champions are durable plays a very high moba-to-non-moba ratio, because it's basically like comparing counter-strike and modern warfare, and ignoring for example "100 health" shooters like quake; in the genre, yes, in terms of video games in general, no you are made of paper.
I don't understand why people are raging so hard about the irelia nerf. The dislikes on the patch preview aren't a record (jax losing dodge is the winner of that, I think), but it's way more than usual. They specifically said they were toning down her farming without affecting her champion fighting, which doesn't seem like a problem at all. I'm more worried about them buffing AD shaco, who 1. didn't need a buff and 2. AP already has viability issues so it just lessens the dynamism of the champion to make AD even more attractive.
Fiora is basically a copy of master yi with things shuffled around a bit - like I told Jetlok, she's a little like Falco to smash bros.' Fox, the first sort-of copy in the entire game. The biggest differences are that she's lost a resist/heal and gained a distance-closer (since the "original", alpha strike, has been moved to her ultimate, so she needs another one for more regular use), and her passive is HP regen instead of AS. For my money, I think she's not too imbalanced as it is, since she has major sustain problems against harassers because she has no way to significantly self-heal without meleeing an enemy unit unless she uses a potion, and her passive AD bonus' active portion is a lot weaker than master yi's, parrying 1 (non-turret) attack instead of boosting AD further. On top of all that she has no inherent boost to minion farming like yi's alpha strike. (Any advantage on her ultimate vs. alpha strike is just a matter of switching ultimates with non-ultimates - her version of Yi's ultimate needs to attack a few times to get its full move speed boost, and on kill/assist doesn't refresh the other 3 abilities at all.) With all of these disadvantages vs. master yi combined, she would frankly be completely pointless as a choice if she didn't have her remarkable damage output. She hasn't been around long enough for me to have a concrete opinion, but I don't see a blatant need for a nerf.
I'm pretty good with Evelynn; people simply refuse to play her correctly, much like the original alistar. In a recent game a pair of AT partners (not with me) wanted me to play evelynn top, which is perhaps the worst possible place she could be, but it depends on who would be her mid opponent. They took it for granted, and I'd never even
heard of an Eve being at top. This convo actually happened:
Me: I've never even HEARD of eve top
Guy McDude: Then why play eve??
Apparently if you've never seen a particular strategy, there's no reason to play the champion at all.

wait wut
Anyway my point is she's played well so rarely that people don't even have consensus on what you're supposed to be trying in the first place. Trust me though, never solo lane her.
