not really, LPS might not be as popular but it is still receiving decent ratings
i'm guessing this, but perhaps since My Little Pony has amazing ratings they can afford to take these breaks for other reasons.

in a way, they might have done it this way to try and get more on board for LPS. boost its ratings instead, as MLP probably doesnt require it, haha.
again though, i don't really know how ratings affect television shows in this way
