I made the same mistake once.
Liquid fuel =/= solid fuel

when i was new to ksp the rcs tanks were still labeled as solid fuel so i built a rocket and did what kimon did but with the rcs tanks

come on guys we all start somewhere
you started 6 feet under

loving finally. I've never been that great at keeping my focus on actually doing things in KSP, but this winter break I've managed a vanilla experience in the science career mode getting to another planet. Now to land it when I'm less tired and have less of a headache. :P

Also, the lander piece of that probe right there is quite possibly the most well-designed thing I've ever done in KSP.
how the forget you got patience to do science at the beginning. it takes ages to do anything

You can get so much science from just the space centre it's amazing.
You can get so far up the tree without even getting to orbit.

Crew report at flagpole.
Mystery Goo report of flag pole.
Ground sample of flag pole.
EVA report of flag pole.
Science Jr. report of flag pole.
Temperature reading of flag pole.
Seismometer report of flagpole.
Pressure measurement of flag pole.
Acceleratometer report of flag pole.

Due to my lack of internet I have been unable to update my game for over a year. Seeing all these new parts being released makes me sad, but at least I still don't have to pay per part used on my ships in the campaign mode on the version im running

Wow, well I know what my next mission is. I've really just been doing reports from the Mun's biomes, Minimus, and some Kerbin biomes.

you can still play Science mode. :) for if you just want that exploration and discovery part of the game.

Yeah but I mean I guess every planet now has biomes, which sounds much more fun then land a rocket on each planet once and you're done.

How are you posting? :[
or phone, as most people have anymore.

How are you posting? :[
Borrowing my gfs 12 year old laptop and internet which is too slow to do most things except browse these forums (unless the thread gets too image heavy)
(speaking of which i have to give up said laptop because other people need to use it, so its an interesting timing)

I saw there was a partbuilding plugin for unity though, which I hope to try out to give me more variety in my game if i can get a chance to download it.

Welp, I just lost Jebediah, Bob, and Bill in a catastrophic Mun landing. Jebediah died in the lander because I couldn't use the SAS due to depleted batteries. Bob and Bill died on the way back because apparently I left the warp on too long and couldn't revert the flight. I had the lesser Kerbalnauts place three flags at the space center in remembrance of these great Kerbals and their contribution to space flight. May god have mercy on their no doubt burnt and crispy remains.

Let this be a lesson to test your landers before you send them to faraway places.
