When starting on new career mode, what's the best way to get science quickly?

what i do is just take surface samples from Kerbin

This is as fast as 80 jets will get me.

This is about as fast as I can get anything going at sea level
I did get a smaller jet roosterpit with 24 engines going 1,705m/s but it crashed into the ocean and was not controllable at all

I tried another jet roosterpit with 64 seperatrons but it would lose control and start pulling G's of 45.

I like how the jets turn blue when they reach max temperature

So, what's the deal with everybody complaining about the new aerodynamics on the forums? I'm also seeing complaints about ISRU and how ore's is OP. Also a lot of complaining about the LVN's

Go do debug menu and enable Display Aerodynamic Forces In Flight or something.

I remember entering EVE's atmosphere coming from an opposite orbit to it via Jool slingshot. I probably can't do any more 14km/s entries now with the new aero :(
