Sometimes I like to take the SV98, take of optics, and pretend it's a Mosin-Nagant when I'm on Spetznaz. :)
SMAW vs. Mounted Machinegunner = What cover? *smoking SMAW barrel*

Also, regarding my BF2142-like idea, I found another use for water vehicles; boarding said battleships. And after that, destroy 4 control consoles, and then throw C4 in nuclear reactor core (seeing as modern-day battleships/carriers are nuclear-powered), get off of the ship, and watch the fireworks! Kinda like how you could get in the ground APC and launch boarding pods onto the enemy Titan.

I only play as Support and Recon
And I love the 870MCS

Oh god yes, I wouldn't use 870MCS on Support or Recon though, because without their machinegun/sniper rifle, they're pretty much not Support or Recon.

DICE has released the first update to the Battlefield 3 beta, fixing a number of issues. Thanks to user feedback, developers have dealt with issues such as crashes, stability fixes and more. The full list of fixes and tweaks can be found below, curtsey of the Battlefield Blog.

Fixed occasional client crash when reviving.
Fixed killcam showing glitched area under map if your killer is dead.
Issue with spawning on dead squad mates fixed.
Fixed a bug where shooting at a moving enemy could cause more than the intended amount of damage.
Crosshairs for shotguns have been replaced with a new, thinner, art.
A subtle low health screen effect has been added.
Tweaked scores of Medals and Service Stars.
Tweaked the Rank progression.
Pushing prone on console will not play the animation twice.
Fixed loss of Squad Leader after EOR at some times.
Framerate stability fixes.
The 3D spotting icons has been tweaked to better match the target’s visibility. Icons will show frequently less on mostly obscured targets.
Fixed issue with crosshair disappearing after round transition.
Fixed issue with crosshair disappearing after trying to deploy while the countdown timer still active.
Squad list now shows specializations chosen, VOIP activity and dead squad mates.
Non working options in squad menu fixed: “Private” flag and “Switch Teams”.
As usual, you can report bugs and glitches in the Battlelog forums (login required).

UPDATE: DICE has stated that these changes won’t be implemented in the beta, rather, they will be carried over to the full game. DICE is outlining what changes will be in the final game — the beta won’t be updated.

Feel free to add me on Origin: Namalb

That's some very nice support you're giving the beta dice, One non battlefield style map and no updates to fix the many bugs.

What about that grey-screen bullstuff that happens when you spawn on occasion?  I hate that, it's monochrome and blurry and I can't fight for stuff when it happens.

Even betas need support, People will be judging it for their purchase.

First opinions matter.

No I was agreeing with you, I figured he had thought you were talking about the full game.
