Alright, so you know how you can view the CD key in steam? View that, copy it to clipboard, go to origin, select under the gear in Games, select redeem a product code, then paste it in, it'll ask you for languages and all, and it'll say "ready to download" which then you can download it.

turns out they don't work with game copies purchased a while ago (what a rip) so you have to purchase it again for it to work
