its only arms length away from your face and DONT hold the scope up to your eye if you want a bloody nose

thats what im saying. you cannot use a scope at that length. you might as well be aiming the gun normally then.

So you're saying if you hold it CLOSE to our face we WON'T get a bloody nose, but if we hold it far we will?

well how close do you hold a handgun to your face? how do you look down a scope thats 2 feet away?
the scope itself has crosshairs you cant even use to aim with when you arent looking down it properly.
Scopes aren't like this.

They're like this.

They're like this.

the camera is right up to the scope. not 2feet away where a person would be holding the gun...

you are using a horrible example that dont make your point

The snipers in BF3 are like what you explained, anyways.

You're viewing it up to the scope. It's just that you can see your peripheral vision, like you SHOULD be able to.

no. a real handgun+scope first person image would allow you to see the hands and arms of the person.
you once again posted  the eye/camera right up to the scope. thats not how you shoot a handgun, and CANT shoot a .44

i dont care how bf does it. its not real. its a game. that wasnt even the discussion; YOU were making comparisons to real life so back it up by using real life debate.

yes. again. a game. even in a game it looks completely uneeded lol. they dont add zoom or accuracy at all. EVEN in game.

but shell is defending the real life ones when someone brought up how handicapped that is for a handgun.

why are you guys so stupid as to defend something real with fictional images. jesus christ lol

I'm not defending anything.

And you were talking about sniper scopes. Not handguns. Not to mention it sounded like you were talking about real life ones.

In real life powerful revolvers are used with scopes sometimes. Many use them for hunting animals.

According to an anonymous report BF3Blog received from inside Valve, the developer/publisher is currently in late-stage talks with EA in bringing Battlefield 3 to the Steam digital distribution service. The rumor says that Battlefield 3 would be available on Steam just in time for the game’s release on October 25.

According to the report, EA and Valve are very close to reaching an agreement regarding sales of DLC content, which is the main reason Battlefield 3 is not on Steam: Valve requires that all DLC is sold through Steam, while EA would prefer to sell via its own channels. This was the cause of another EA title, Crysis 2, for being pulled from Steam earlier this year.

Many PC gamers have lobbied both EA and Valve to put Battlefield 3 on Steam for a while now. It looks like it’ll finally happen soon.

We’ve reached out to EA and Valve for a comment on this story.

i already preordered on origin

life is a bitch

i would prefer origin to steam any day.

Your opinion is wrong then.

Can't you cancel?

no, purchase is already justified. i don't feel like getting a refund, either. i have used my sister's credit card much too many times already.

steam is a load of crap. i don't want to join nyan cat cupcake group of tf2 alpha clan for the 50th time. i would prefer the service without a bunch of noobs and ads. and i'm not going on a setting scavenger hunt to disable a bunch of crap either. origin is fast and responsive, i don't need to take 5 minutes for it to start up and wait 2 minutes for the bottom right screen to clear up.
