Why complain about guns lol. Just use them yourself.
That's like saying "i don't want free kills and this gun is too good so let's nerf it"
apparently you'd rather watch the guns go away then use them while you can to rack in kills. Stupid logic if I do say so myself.
Using easy-kill weapons just dulls the feeling of satisfaction you get from downing opponents. It's why I don't snipe. It's why I don't take out my RPG to shoot infantry. It's why I don't use HSM. It's also why I no longer use the SCAR. I used the SCAR for a while after unlocking it, and suddenly I'm a one-man rape train that kills everyone that isn't already shooting at me, and about two thirds of the people who are.
As the dedicated anti-tank class. I play video games to have fun, and playing as an anti-everything demigod isn't fun, therefore I don't use the SCAR.
I don't even think it should be removed entirely, since there are still better guns out there. It's just the anti-tank class should not have any equipment that allows him to deal with infantry better than any of the other classes. If you're playing engineer, it should
only be because you are trying to destroy enemy vehicles or repair allied ones/your own. Killing infantry should be the lowest priority, since if you wanted to kill infantry you would be playing one of the three other classes. Giving the SCAR to the engineer gives him a huge edge against other infantry and allows him to counter
anything.
tl;dr
The problem with the SCAR doesn't lie in the gun itself, but the class who gets it. If it had gone to the assault instead I wouldn't have an issue with it, but as an engineer weapon it is frustrating to be killed by and boring to use.
