I only use the magnum because it's the only scoped secondary.
And I need to have a longer ranged secondary.
The exact opposite is true for recon, whereas I need a small assault rifle as secondary.

Your pistol isn't suppose to be another weapon.
In my oppinion it's suppose to be a backup weapon when you run out of ammo.
The magnums are some overpowered handcannons and the G18 is a gatling gun.
I don't like them at all.

I rarely use theim anyways.
I rarely use guns atall.
Most of the time I'm vehicle-whoreing.

well it can also be used for a silent kill if your primary doesn't have a suppressor on it, that's how i usually use my m1911, other then that it's what i use if i run out of ammo...

I usually use my pistol if I'm in a situation where I have to reload my primary, but don't have enough time to.

I use assault a lot, and assault is a spraying class, so I run out of ammo normally
So I use the Magnum to 1 or 2 people then I reload my main weapon.
(I have 2 Rexx service stars don't harrass me about using the magnum ok)
