Its recognizing that the stat changes so radically despite having such a crazy padding to it, and not so much the actual value.
Skill is also based on squad score and spm, team oriented stats on top of KD.

I had to get 20 kills for an assignment, not because I chose to try to fly jets willingly and be useful in them. The only jet I ever fly is the attack jet, because I can actually support my team more actively by smashing enemy vehicles. However, the fastest way I figured to just get flat kills with jets would be to play Air superiority. A gamemode heavily dominated by super jet pilots and people also trying to get assignment kills.

I take pride in the fact that I have been able to keep my stats on the high end while at the same time being as objective oriented as possible with my gameplay. (Playing objectives/supporting teammates as opposed to looking for kills)

PROTIP FORM SOME JET cigarette: Learn to fly in third person, after attempting this I actually managed to go 7/2 in them, so, IDK.

a good aggressive recon can play a key role in a game.

unless by sniper you mean people who attempt to use the 40x scope in a real sense, then i agree

however fighter pilots can seriously change a game.  a good pilot can keep all other aerial vehicles out of the sky, which can make a huuuge change

Can't agree more, especially when the "pilot" doesn't know jack stuff how to fly and crashes into the pillar on the satellite map, sending everyone on the hanging dome down.

Its the most useless because nobody knows how to do it properly. Really good snipers can lay down some pretty heavy support. But most ppl are not very good.

Jets olny kill other jets. Tanks only kill other tanks.
Basically IFV's are the only useful things.
