It's a wasteland. It still has irradiated life-forms living on it, like most of Hera, but the island is constantly battered by large arctic storms that have further modified the species living on it.

Most of Hera in fact has changed dramatically.

Troopers have been ordered to sweep across the snow-bound country to see if there's any other signs of life other than the creatures. They are now heading south-bound. We may come across more creatures while we're going, but hopefully not. Radio contact will be broken when our teams cross the border, and we will not have any more news until the teams return or if we get word that they're dead.

I have perfected my flying skills on Orbiter and will be recording stages of the flight in approximatly 13 hours.

Take in mind the three delta gliders have taken off already, two are in cargo storage of the ARROW DEEP SPACE FREIGHTER and the last on full of important people being flown by me is docking last in the main hangar.
