Author Topic: My mother has forbiden me from using certian computer programs.  (Read 5975 times)

My parents don't really care about what I do on their computer, unless it involves cooking his hardware like eggs on the sidewalk. When I was younger, I got a virus on his computer that disabled the use of any executables (so no, no deleting the virus process), and my dad shrugged and said "Meh, time for a reformat." When I mention some stuff that he had on there, he plays this.

I have my own computer I get a virus I either re-format or figure it out but I use virus protection on mine well not right now because mine is broken as of now.

Roblox is gay, anyway.
forget you.

Roblox is okay, the community is terrible and the admins are worse then the community in roblox. That's all.

Your 12.
Say it in her face, you have rights.

and in doing so you're proving that you're now an angsty teenager  :cookieMonster:

Alright, show your mom this post (if you can:)

Google Chrome, Steam, and games related to Steam are not viruses. Millions of people around the world use Google Chrome and hundreds of thousands of people use Steam (and play Steam games) every day. None of them get a virus because of any of these programs. Google Chrome, Steam, and Steam games have all been validated by every major antivirus provider (such as McAfee, which I use myself.) In fact, I use Steam and play Steam games almost every day and have never gotten a single virus from Steam or any Steam games.

If you want antivirus software, I recommend AVG. It's free, and is used by many people, who don't have problems with it. This antivirus software will show you that Google Chrome, Steam, and Steam games are totally safe and, therefore, are not viruses.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope that you will allow your kid to use Google Chrome, Steam, and Steam games.

If he shows her that post she might want to see the rest of the forums...and that might not turn out well.

Simple, use the snipping tool or gyazo.
Create a alternate email and send that to your main email.

No. She's not religious.

Because she is a 'free spirited willful soul'.

Or something like that. She also forbids me from swearing now.

The free spirit forbids you from being free.

Olololol.

Next thing you know she'll be blaming the Blockland Forums for viruses.
