THE BEST WEAPON CHOICE?

Bow & Arrow - I like to sneak around and kill from afar!
Melee - Stealth and Mage characters are just wimps. Real men use swords!
Magic - Both Sword and Bow are rendered useless against my spells!

have you gotten a mysterious note from myvryna arano yet?
I might have. There was a woman on a horse that gave me a letter called "Assasinations!" and ran off. Is that what you are talking about? I forgot the name associated with the letter.

Nah. You get this letter if you spend a night in jail. It allows you entry to the Thieves guild.

Oh okay. How does it show up?

arano gives it to you.
Interesting. Maybe I need to go to jail for stealing something, as I technically went to jail for attempted murder.

Nah, just takes a while.

Aaaannndddd...

I just dropped 200 bucks on the collectors edition for PS3 (Yes, I know I should have got PC, but I like the controls for PS3, and EB GAMES was sold out of PC collector copies anyway)

forget yes :D

How can they be sold out of a pre-order? That makes no sense.

Of the Collectors Edition anyway. The one that includes the dragon statue and art book.

No, it doesn't make sense that they can be out of something they'll be ordering anyway.

So I got Morrowind and Oblivion in the Quakecon sale, I keep telling myself to play them but I keep getting sidetracked :V

Should I play Morrowind before Oblivion?

Doesn't really matter.

The collectors edition is "extremely limited".

None of the Elder Scrolls games so far have had anything to do with each other apart from the lore. Morrowing and Oblivion are story wise separate.

Neat, how does it work?
I once enchanted 104 duplicate amulets with the same enchantment(fortify Acrobatics on self), each set of two amulets under a different name(two named A, two named B, and so on), and then I went into a sewer and did the following:
-Equip one amulet named "A"
-Closed inventory and brought it back up
-Try to equip other amulet named "A"
The game forcibly removes the first amulet but not its enchantment, leaving me with the enchantment as a permanent effect.
Drop the two "A" amulets and put them somewhere out of the way, like an open-topped barrel in the sewer I was in. I believe for me, it was the
I repeated this with the other sets of two amulets, and when I came out of the sewer about an hour later I had an acrobatics skill of about 350.

Notes:
-It won't work to simply duplicate one enchanted amulet. Since they have to have different names, you must manually enchant each amulet and manually name them all. You gotta work to succeed.
-Right after you drop the duplicated amulets, without first closing the inventory, equip something on another part of the body(a pair of shoes works here). This will prevent the risk of the enchantment disappearing when a different amulet is placed in the duplicated amulet's spot.
-While the glitch will work with any article of clothing, do not use enchanted shields, as this tends to make the game crash on 360. And I know, if you were on PC, you wouldn't be reading this in the first place.
-If you could stand the monotony of manually enchanting and naming 104 amulets, how about 208? It works with any number of amulets so long as they're each named differently.
-A,B,C...
When you run out of singular letters:
-AA,BB,CC...
And so on.
But naturally someone automatically assumed I was on PC rather than Xbox, and posted the console command that achieves what this does, thinking I was wasting my time.

I raged at him.
Read the post next time.

My god, I'm on 360. I'm on the goddamn Xbox 360, I do NOT have the game for PC. Get it through your heads, I have it on 360. I can not type a code into the console to get what I want, I need to work for it. My god.

I'm well aware that there's a console command to obtain the effects of EVERY glitch I talk about. I'm speaking for those unlucky few on 360 who don't have the convenience of a console to make the game a sandbox for them.
In retrospect, a bit unnecessary. But that had been happening every time I talked about a glitch.

I'm so glad that being a battle Mage is going to be easier in Skyrim.
I'm probably going to play mages a lot more now :)
