New Vegas has no replayability without being extremely annoyed that you do the SAME DAMN THING NO MATTER WHAT FACTION YOU CHOOSE!
This.

At the end you're in the exact same place and exact same time with the exact same event going on, no matter who you side with. The only difference is who is your ally/allies and who is your enemy/enemies at the time.

Yeah, I loved my first Playthrough, it was amazing besides the bugs.

But then my second one was horrible, I had to go back to every faction and kill them, I wasnt going to go back and make peace with the BoS and the people at the Airbase.

Well, when you replay a game that has an ending that actually ends the game you generally wouldn't do that and instead go and experience the other content of the game.
And how can you say new vegas is like that when you at least have a choice of who you side with, but in Fallout 3 there's only one way to end it all.

Erm,

Broken Steel.

I asked myself the same question. Fallout 3 felt different, I actually enjoyed playing it through 6-12 times.

Broken Steel.
You know what I ment.

Fallout 3.

The original fallout developers were never strong on that part of the storyline.

I think Bethesda should combine with Obsidian. Bethesda creates a great story while Obsidian creates better gameplay.

Does anyone know if the faction armor bug is fixed? It could essentially be a game breaking bug to some.

New Vegas is more innovative and game mechanics are much better, more realistic damage from guns and much more. Although it is optimized quite horribly compared to Fallout 3, I'd still get New Vegas.

Fallout 3 had a handicapped weapon balancing.
A big ass 10mm pistol does 6 damage
and a special minigun does like 80 damage each shot.

I preferred Fallout 3 over New Vegas. It was more interesting to me, and I liked going through the Capital Wasteland more because there was all this wrecked stuff as opposed to the Mojave Wasteland which was pretty empty to begin with. Fallout 3 had a bigger map to explore and I liked the story better overall. New Vegas is filled with political junk too that I honestly didn't even care about.

You got that in Vegas too.

Just now you can actually aim the gun down instead of just extending your neck out by about a foot when you would zoom in.

A vengeance Gatling laser is up to 130 damage for me and I don't even have 100 big guns skill yet.

I was going to post what you said in the op.
Though I haven't experienced any game breaking bugs in my time playing New Vegas.

I was just playing Fallout: New Vegas, and I was in Hidden Valley Bunker (The one with the Brotherhood in it), and I was spinning around while walking, because it was fun. I get to the door that exits the populated part of the bunker and went into it, and my game crashed. I did it multiple times. And when I didn't spin, it was ok.

Strange...
I've also encountered many texture glitches, view model glitches, people getting stuck glitches, glitches, glitches, glitches. None to cause the game to crash, though.

I like the weapon mods and ironsights though.

Fallout 3.
Pretty much, for me.

Glitches happen in both games.
