I am actually looking forward to high school. A bit nervous, but why not? Even though I know about 60 of the kids going into the grade, why can't I be nervous?
Middle school - first two years I pretty much wanted to loving kill myself. Every day was a struggle with the loving handicappedly annoying kids in our grade; we had a loveual.. problem and a lot of "bullying" - all that in a class of 20. Moved to another school in 7th grade, and 8th grade (last year) was actually really nice. I loved the kids there, they were all really nice and accepting of who I was (not like, "OHH HE SPENDS ALL HIS TIME ON THE COMPUTER, HE HAS NO LIFE" - in fact, I found a few kids just like me who spend almost all their time on minecraft or counter strike or something), and (best of all, i might add), they have loving awesome food. :)
High school, I'm overall pretty excited. Most of the annoying kids get reported and actually got "not invited back" - literally. A kid was even kicked out in 8th grade for being a complete richardhead to other kids and teachers. He even had to pay the tuition still, for another year. But anyways, back to the point; only people I like are in the grade now, with the exclusion of a few people, plus the people who I obviously haven't met yet. Only one of my good friends left the school, which I'm pretty disappointed about but I'll probably be keeping in touch with him. High school actually sounds fun - at our school, it's a middle school to high school, so I'm in the grade with a lot of the kids that were there the last year. They make you want to come back to high school because pretty much it's middle school with some more privileges and some more classes. For instance, in "extended day" (middle school), you have to have a supervisor who needs to know where you are at all times.. the only bad thing is that the supervisor was an absolute starfish. He'd scream at people to shut up when they weren't even talking. High school, after school we get free roam of the campus.
I'm kind of scared because I'm going into the highest classes possible, and the textbooks really aren't helping ($150 for my bio honors textbook.. yikes!).
Overall, looking forward to it.. i guess.
ninja, also, do you live in the UK? do they start at a different time? i start in like, 2 weeks, and my friend starts a full 10 days after me.
