valve seriously needs to get a new engine. i mean, source is great and i love it, but if theyre going to remain competitive they need something new very soon. even just a heavily upgraded source would be fine.

2004 source to the current version is like goldsrc to 2004 source.  They're the same engine, but one is improved a bit more.  They're just not renaming it this time.
