Unless you embarked in a haunted area wildlife isn't too dangerous. Most mundane creatures tend to shy away from dwarves.

loving troll managed to get into my lower storage and killed two of my dwarfs. My crafts dwarf and my mechanic. Amazingly it chose the exact time my loving military was sleeping. After rampaging around for awhile my axedwarf came down and promptly decapitated it.

I just realized that, and I don't know if I can sit here for 2 1/2 hours listening to that.

When designated my dwarfs jobs at the beginning what do you guys suggest going with?
Also, when I press v to view a dwarf and it gives me information, should I use this info to better assign the dwarf?

It's not the accent that bothers me but the quality of their mics.

It sounds most of the time like unintelligable screeching mixed in with a faux-fancy speech pattern and British accent and I cannot bear even 10 seconds of it.

Oh man thought I was in the Minecraft topic and I assumed by "British accent" GameChap, forget this ever happened.
