The fact that the grass is green at all means that the grass is based off of real life grass. You could go either way with it, but I would like it a little darker. Now it's just fine though, don't get me wrong.

And I think the grass looks great the way it is.
It's more original than most grass designs anyway.

If someone draws them, then sure! However, they would have to be different somehow.

The netcode isn't great but it seems like you're pulling that out of your ass.
I assume you play SS13, it lags quite a lot on there since BYOND's netcode cannot handle the constantly updating atmospherics system, as well for a load of other objects that are "constant" in that game.
Most BYOND games are much more lightweight on the netcode, thus less lag.
