In the prelude to volume one the author guy says that he's not going to stop writing until he dies or something along those lines.

I've noticed that the comics' art style has kind of changed. In volume one when Rick first wakes up he looks like a comic book character, light cartoonish features and such. But the further down the line you go, the more battered and worn out he looks. I really do love that.

go to the first the third book, maybe forth, one o fthose me thinks, and look at the author again.

Yeah, it's supposed to be "the zombie movie that never ends...at least not for a long time". It is supposed to chronicle Rick's journey and survival until he dies. Volume 14 Spoilers: The way things have been going, I have a feeling Rick is going to die soon :c especially since he only has one hand.

Volume 14 Spoilers: I'm pretty sure there were still some more spread out, or coming in. Plus with all those gunshots, they are sure to attract more if they don't move somewhere else.
