The preview literally made me think I should switch to Mac.

However, I will give it a try before I decide.

but on a serious note what the forget is this stuff? it's like they took the kinect interface and said HEY. THIS WOULD LOOK GOOD ON PC. then some idiot actually provided funding for it, essentially taking a stuff all over everything good in the world

and what the forget is all this app bullstuff? I don't loving want a bunch of stuffty apps. inb4angrybirdsclone haha oh wait

all the linux distros are going to a netbook perspective as well now. no escaping now :c.

i'm pretty sure it's on the desktop by default.
the metro ui (the second picture of Tom's) is the Start menu.

Really, the thing I hate most about all this new stuff is that they're trying to make it look as simplistic as possible and I just find it boring.
