They don't have to be real but I want an idea. All right, that's fair.
The Napoleon has been hit hard. She has lost her main engines and fire control systems, and is listing slightly. She is not sinking but is out of the fight. She is reatreating on the backup engine. 3 F-35s have been lost in a dogfight with several GT VTOLs. 4 of the enemy VTOLs were destroyed.
The cruiser Samurai has been encircled by 7 enemy ships. She is fighting valiantly, and has sunk 2 of the ships and disabled one. A destroyer is picking at the ships from a distance, and has lightly damaged one ship.
A soldier on the beach described the scene, as the sun has now set and it is nightime with a crescent moon. "I stood there on the beach, wanting some action, when I saw the ship battle in the distance. A fighter jet broke apart, sending flaming bits of metal into the ocean, while another burst into flames and tumbled, then exploded. The missiles looked like asteroids, rising then falling, and occasionally a ship would explode. It was incredible, and I just watched along with some other just landed privates. A ship started burning then, and I could see her outline as the flames rose higher and higher. I was then told to climb into a Puma and head off."
