I played.

Oblivion.

All day.

I went from level 3 --> 14, did the entire Thieve's Guild questline, the entire Dark Brotherhood questline, did the Arena from newcomer to Grand Champion, and finished all of the Mage's Guild recommendations. Today alone.

I probably need a life.

HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-

Holy stuff, guys. I just realized something.

The Elder Scrolls is the only game series that I know of that, each game, has almost nothing to do with one another.

I got 25$ again.

Ill probably buy Oblivion tomorrow and;

Blah. I pre-ordered Skyrim for the PC but my computer's RAM is crappy and I'm skeptical about how well I will run it on good settings :/

anyone else have the morrowind mod jvk1166.esp? i forgot where to get it and i accidently forgot to run the mod with DOSbox, so now my morrowind (and all the saves) is fried.

You're running Morrowind through DOSBox?
I think you're doing it wrong.

no, i had to run the mod through DOSbox. running the actual mod with morrowind destroys and corrupts all game files including saves. that's how jvk1166z.esp works.

If a mod destroys and corrupts  your game, its probably not worth it.

The history of the world is the only thing, but you are right, there isn't anything that effects the player.
I imagine they purposefully do that so that anyone can pick up the newest game and not have to buy all the games. It helps build a fanbase when potential fans don't have to buy every game before playing the newest.

I think they like doing that because they dont have to follow the lore too much. They can just come up with a fresh new idea.

The manual was leaked!
