morrowind had way too many skills

Morrowind had pretty terrible combat and skill organization, but the world was amazing. Oblivion and Skyrim together were still smaller them Morrwind.

I love morrowind and all, but I mean, just go look off of a mountain in Skyrim. It's breathtaking.

I think Skyrim is better than Morrowind.  All of the annoyances from oblivion and morrowind are gone now, plus a ton of awesome quests.

I guess it's also that I've played ~4 hours of Skyrim and ~800 hours of Morrowind.

The morrowind map is using its squares from the game, and multiple squares would exist for some cities, like vivec.  And those are not the major cities, those are all of the cities in morrowind.

I think each square represents how much space the location takes up on the map.

no they're just markers

anyways morrowind was amazing for its time but its outdated now. doesnt mean its no longer fun but it just feels soo clunky and its extremely ugly.

I agree, Skyrim functions better and is more aesthetically appealing.
