Elder scrolls online looks neat, but If it has a skillbar (I think that's the right word, haven't looked it up in awhile) I'm not touching it.
What, like you can assign certain abilities to 1-= and press them in combat to activate them? Like in WoW?
From what I understand from
a kind of first look I saw once, you click to attack, hold to
power up perform a power attack. So at least it's not combat like in WoW.
Having watched the video again and watching the combat gameplay, I've gleaned that it might be like combat in games like DC Universe Online. Swing your sword/fire your bow/throw a punch, etc. with the left click, and occasionally throw in a power or spell with the number keys. That's just a rough guess based on what the combat actually looks like in-game. I'm okay with this, as long as it doesn't clutter the screen.
I also hope the Imperial City isn't a constant warzone; I actually want to get in and explore it and visit old familiar places without getting run through by a level-capped god-player.
I also particularly hope I can play in first-person. All gameplay I've seen so far has been in third-person. This worries me, as despite constant attempts I have never managed to get used to third-person combat in Elder Scrolls games.
