im not usually into roleplaying but for the sake of it i decided to play as an incredibly tribal nord with a habit of exterminating every single argonian she sees

idk if ill play the eso but if i do im prob going to be in the aldmeri dominion.

When is the dragonborn DLC coming out?

so i'm about to do another run of skyrim, anyone recommend a challenging character build? (other then all illusion, i'm trying that first)

i wouldnt really say challanging, but bows only is pretty fun

Already about on XBOX360, coming out in New Year for PC (presumably Jan4) and ofc PS3's copy will be dumped into a pit and slowly burnt while a bunch of Bethesda priests hop around it chanting "hooo wee yaaa yuhhh"

challenging? ahahahaha, bows are easily the most OP thing in the game if you play a stealth archer. it is very fun, though, the very early levels are pretty damn hard.

Elder scrolls online looks neat, but If it has a skillbar (I think that's the right word, haven't looked it up in awhile) I'm not touching it.

The Aldmeri Dominion:
The Khajiit, a proud feline race, are fearsome warriors, proficient with bladed weapons.  They stand proudly at the forefront of every battle.
welp. as much as I hate the altmer, I guess I'll have to join the aldmeri dominion if I ever play that game

ESO looks fun-ish to me. :/

Anyways, I'm getting ready to want to play Skyrim again after I see The Hobbit and re-watch LoTR. Should I just be a simpleton farmer/business owner, Dark Brotherhood archer, or go for an all out adventurer who dabbles with the Companions? Also, any mods that make the economy more realistic while not making it impossible to earn money?

What, like you can assign certain abilities to 1-= and press them in combat to activate them? Like in WoW?
From what I understand from a kind of first look I saw once, you click to attack, hold to power up perform a power attack. So at least it's not combat like in WoW.

Having watched the video again and watching the combat gameplay, I've gleaned that it might be like combat in games like DC Universe Online. Swing your sword/fire your bow/throw a punch, etc. with the left click, and occasionally throw in a power or spell with the number keys. That's just a rough guess based on what the combat actually looks like in-game. I'm okay with this, as long as it doesn't clutter the screen.

I also hope the Imperial City isn't a constant warzone; I actually want to get in and explore it and visit old familiar places without getting run through by a level-capped god-player.

I also particularly hope I can play in first-person. All gameplay I've seen so far has been in third-person. This worries me, as despite constant attempts I have never managed to get used to third-person combat in Elder Scrolls games.

Hopefully they have all the mage stuff, and a mage only build is viable.
