New graphics card. I intend to mod the forget out of Skyrim. Throw all your graphics overhaul mods at me, I can take it.
I doubt that, what card do you have?

I would but graphics are mainly user-opinionated so what I like, you might not.

Does anyone else around here prefer Morrowind over Skyrim/Consider the games equal in awesomeness with each other, when their time of release has been taken in attention? Going to Solsthemihjjb in Morrowind and seeing all the cool stuff that was taken to Skyrim from that in old school graphics is amazing. There are even Draugr in Morrowind, How cool is that?

I agree. I haven't gotten Dragonborn yet but I absolutely adore Morrowind.

Why? We can just shoot a portal to the moon.
I'd rather land on Nirn without burning up on reentry.

If the masters of the Voice are called the Greybeards, there should a faction of pirates called Blackbeards!  :cookieMonster:

The way how the game just goes "Okay, you stepped out of this  building. Good luck, go forget yourself" and you can start your own adventure. It doesn't have the same bullstuff as Skyrim where if you kill someone who is tied to the main story, they fall to the ground for five seconds, instead you get a disturbing message and get to keep going. The way how you just can't become this "Man who helped the imperials and murdered the emperor" guy is cool. What i mean is that you cannot join all the factions and do all the quests. You cannot please everyone in this game. If you do a quest, some people like you and some absolutely hate you.

The only gripe against morrowind is its lack of overworld bandits/creatures/etc. Same for all ES games. I like traveling, but I like traveling to be fun and eventful. I won't mind stopping to fight a bandit boss or a large creature for a little while.

And as for Skyrim, I feel as everything lacks depth. Yeah everything is there, but it lacks "color" and personality. Cicero is the closest it gets to this. And it somewhat took a more serious approach, and that's fine, but it's very bland. I rarely find characters' personalities memorable in Skyrim.

Especially important characters, like the Greybeards, Delphine, Imperial leaders, Jarls, Other city leaders, Ulfric, (The second in command stormcloak), etc.

The only other gripe against it that shouldn't be used against it, is that the Graphics Overhaul mod is so loving hard to install with out having it crash a billion times.

do the graphics overhaul mods lag, or is there mods to make skyrim run better?

I don't really care much for graphics.

The overhaul mod really adds needed feel when it works correctly.

i used to play oblivion a lot.

Despite everyone bashing on it, I really loved Oblivion. It was a really fun game, actually.

it's not reentry if you've never been there before

also we can't really just go to nirn, since all we know is he went to space and later ended up in some other part of space. how many years can a core stay powered? maybe centuries
