When I installed it when I got my pre-release FX8150, on an OCZ Vertex 64GB, it took like max 5 minutes, no stuff.

What the forget? How do you get all the good stuff man? Do you work for a special company and got the pre-release? :c

Want it for some graphic designing and light/medium gaming. Although that GPU is really meaty for that price.

Nah, I guess AMD just likes me.
Up until my 990X I only ever bought AMD products, and I still only buy AMD GPUs.

Intel SB-E i7-3960X 6 core CPU, 3.3GHz. $1050 USD
Core unclocking is where on certain AMD CPUs, they have turned 1 or 2 cores off. Typical examples of this are all Phenom II triple cores, and the Phenom II 555 dual core, which are all actually quad cores with cores turned off. The cores might be faulty, but on certain motherboards they can be enabled and tested. Sometimes the cores aren't faulty, they just do it to gain greater market share.
