Holy crap, MSI Twin Frozr III 6950 for $199.99 AR at NCIX tomorrow, same price as MSI Twin Frozr II 6870 at Newegg. Can't believe my dad doesn't want to get these good deals, sure they're a bit more expensive, but worth it, he won't go up more than $180 at all, probably not even that, that's why I was forced to buy the XFX 6870 for $150 AR.

And it's unlockable to a 6970 too, WHY. 6970 for 6870 price.

If I have anything plugged into the left front USB port, while booting up, it stops at the motherboard control panel and only continues to the post beep and all else when I go to "discard changes and exit". With nothing plugged in there, it just goes straight to the beep and so forth. Is this normal, or did I do something wrong?

Cooler Master HAF 912
ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 1155 R

I apparently didn't have enough money on my card to buy the headphones with my Black Friday order.

;-;

oh well.

erm
what?
If you put RAM in that is faster than the maximum supported by the motherboard (in this case, as you have chosen DDR3-1600 with a DDR3-1333 max mobo) just make sure that the mobo can clock the RAM speed down to avoid frying stuff.

@Ethan
I have ~$700. Would it be best to get it from that one cyberpower website? :o

I don't know if I trust my self to build one.
This is decent:

I wonder if I'll be able to stay on page 100.
If the entirety of your aim in posting was that, I don't appreciate you in my thread.

is this worth the money?

edit: not availible right now but its like 499.99
No, that's horrid.

Bad luck man. NCIX has some awesome deals. I love Linus :D

Does the screen report any errors or codes? Anything else on the screen at all?

I can configure one with a monitor if you like, however don't expect a gaming computer. It will cut down on your specs significantly.
Maybe :c

How is the 6770 for gaming?

EDIT: Say I could get a cheap monitor for around £50, what could I get for £50 (including all the stuff I need other than a monitor)

6770 is a mid range gaming card. It's really quite decent for that budget on a prebuilt.
So 50 pounds for keyboard/mouse/speakers?

Whats a good PSU thats higher than 500 Watts if there is one?

I have a mouse, and I don't mind the built in speakers (I have an okay one anyway I think).
The keyboard I don't mind the £7 one.

I found a nice monitor on Amazon for £64.50! :D
The cables will come with it right? What sort of cables do they use?

Woot, Microcenter has $150 Intel i5s, and also a $60 off Z68 board with purchase, I got the i5, and GIGABYTE Z68XP-UD3 all for $250 together. Also bought two Sickleflows for $6 each. So happeh :D

It's specific to that auction whether they come with cables or not.
It should use one DVI to DVI cable and a generic power cord.

Okay. And that will be able to run most of the games coming out now?
Yeah.

What are your total specs and case size?
I will get you the best quality one to support your specs.

Now that it's Black Friday, which laptops would you guys recommend? My budget is around $800 or so, but I could potentially go higher.

Thanks in advance.
